Description: A unique and rare iron mineral specimen. Botryoidal Hematite with a fuzzy goethite coating. The Goethite appears as a soft velvet cover for the bubbly hematite. The matrix is also very unique with tiny clear goshenite crystals forming within the microcline matrix. There is also iron vugs running throughout the matrix. I enjoy looking at the layers of iron from the red base that then crystallizes into a silver color and finally into the velvet cover. The Goshenite infused matrix has tons of sparkle even under normal home lighting. A unique combination of minerals in a small specimen.
